On April 25, the Minister of Justice Fikrat Mammadov met with a delegation led by the Vice-president of the CISCO for Global Innovations, Guy Diedrich, who is on a visit to our country.
Expressing satisfaction with the successful cooperation of CISCO with Azerbaijan, one of the world’s leading companies in the field of IT technologies, the minister gave detailed information about the reforms in the justice and judicial system by the political will of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Mr. Ilham Aliyev, as well as about digital technologies applied in this field, including application of “Electron court” information system, electron bangle - means of electron control in probation activity, electron justice kiosk and other innovations.
It was noted that the Decree "On Deepening of the Reforms in the Judicial-Legal System" signed by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on April 3, contributed to the implementation of works in accordance with more and modern challenges, appliance of advanced technologies, as well as expanding of cooperation with international organizations in this field.
Vice-president of CISCO emphasized that, there is strong stability in Azerbaijan, and the President of the country is one of the rare leaders in the world, paying special attention to modernity and digitalization, and it is one of the most important directions of the state policy. Taking into consideration all this, cooperation with Azerbaijan is one of our top priorities.
The guest also noted that, during his meetings with the head of state he saw that, the President was paying much attention to the application of modern technologies in all spheres, including justice activity in the country, and as a manifestation of this, he was a witness of dynamic progress in the country during the visits to Azerbaijan.
Guy Diedrich met the innovations in the justice and judicial system with great interest and expressed his admiration to gained achievements and congratulated the Azerbaijan on this occasion. He stated that, the advanced experience of our country was an example for some countries and that they were ready to support the development of mutual activity and the reforms carried out.
There was made exchange of ideas on the projects realized by CISCO in the justice and judicial system, as well as on IT technologies and other interactive issues.
